Technical Support Engineer

Job Summary
Provide hands-on technical support to commercial, production, and R&D teams through data analysis, competitor comparisons, and troubleshooting for pre- and after-sales activities. Execute failure analysis, benchmark testing, and destructive/non-destructive tests to identify physical defects while collaborating on global standardization and evaluations. Perform laboratory procedures, maintain documentation, and manage inventory of consumables and spare parts. Set up and troubleshoot equipment, prepare SOPs, and coordinate with vendors. Participate as an ISO 17025 committee member to maintain the Quality Management System. Assist R&D in developing new analytical methods based on customer requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor degree in Polymer Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or any related discipline
- At least 3 years relevant working experience in petrochemical industry and strong knowledge of polymers and plastics
- Familiarity with injection molding technology and analytical techniques
Desired Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with FT-IR, SEM, DSC, TGA, or other analytical instruments
- Knowledge or experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS) such as ISO 14001, ISO 9001, ISO 50001 (ISO 14K, 9K, 50K)
- Knowledge of Python
- Proficient in MS, especially Excel and PowerPoint; ability to prepare technical charts, reports, and presentations
