Technical Support Engineer

Job Summary
Serve as the first point of contact for engineers, clients, and field teams facing technical issues, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and system-related problems via email, chat, and video calls. Monitor engineering systems, network connectivity, and cloud-based infrastructures to detect potential failures, then proactively address system failures to ensure zero downtime while collaborating on automation and preventive maintenance. Support engineering software, CAD applications, remote monitoring systems, and project management tools by managing cloud platforms, network configurations, and IT security protocols, including performing system updates, patch installations, and performance optimizations. Create technical documentation, support guides, and troubleshooting FAQs while recommending improvements to helpdesk workflows and training internal teams on best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in technical support, helpdesk engineering, or IT support
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, BIM software, or other engineering applications
- Knowledge of cloud-based platforms, remote desktop tools, and network troubleshooting
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting abilities
- Customer-focused: you genuinely enjoy solving problems for others
- Strong communicator: able to explain technical concepts in a simple, clear way
- Self-motivated: able to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a remote setting
