Job Summary
Act as a Level 2 escalation point for technical issues across multiple client environments, troubleshooting and resolving complex problems in Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, and Windows Server. Administer tenants and manage devices using Intune, while supporting Windows 11 desktops, firewalls, VPNs, and network connectivity. Work with ticketing systems to ensure accurate documentation and SLA adherence, then identify recurring issues to contribute to process improvements. Occasionally assist with project work such as migrations, upgrades, and client onboarding. This hands-on, customer-facing role within a Microsoft Partner MSP supports SME clients across varied technical environments, requiring proven experience in an MSP setting and strong independent troubleshooting skills.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience working in an MSP environment
- Strong hands-on experience as a Level 2 Technical Support Engineer
- Solid experience with Microsoft 365 Administration
- Solid experience with Active Directory & Group Policy
- Solid experience with Intune / Endpoint Manager
- Solid experience with Windows 11
- Solid experience with Windows Server
- Solid experience with Azure administration
- Solid experience with Firewalls, VPNs, and networking fundamentals
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently
- Comfortable dealing directly with end-users and client stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be living in the Midlands Region - Nass, Kildare, Tullamore, Newbridge, Enfield, Edenderry, Portarlington, Tullamore, Mullingar or close by
- Must have access to a car to drive to work
- Must be legal work in Ireland to apply
Desired Qualifications
- Microsoft certifications (MS-900, MS-102, AZ-900, etc.)
- Experience with Microsoft Partner MSP tools (RMM, PSA, backup platforms)
- Exposure to security tools (Defender, MFA, Conditional Access)
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior engineers (Level 1)
