Job Summary
Technical Support Engineer responsible for resolving complex issues on KLA equipment by coordinating with field service engineers and development teams. Responsibilities include leading service-alert calls, gaining engineering-level troubleshooting knowledge across optics, electronics, mechanical and pneumatic components, standardizing solutions via best-known methods, producing detailed technical reports, and communicating plans of action to customers across the US, Asia, and Europe. The role emphasizes data/log analysis to identify systematic issues, development of technical service procedures, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and delivery of customer-focused solutions with a strong emphasis on operational excellence and documentation.
Required Qualifications
- STEM Bachelor's Level Degree
- Master’s Degree Preferred
- 2-5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in optical and/or electromechanical systems
- Semiconductor capital equipment experience strongly preferred
- Previous technical support and system-level troubleshooting experience preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
