Job Summary

Technical Support Engineer responsible for advanced troubleshooting of Fortinet products, analyzing configurations and network data, educating customers, consulting documentation, reproducing customer environments in lab setups, coordinating with L3 support to isolate issues, and ensuring timely case closure while maintaining SLA. Requires networking and security product knowledge, strong communication, and collaboration with peers across Latin America and the AMER region; familiarity with KB articles and internal certifications; opportunities to provide coaching to L1 teams and deliver technical sessions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (suggested)
  • Experience in field sales or related customer-facing roles desired
  • Understanding of TCP/IP and routing protocols
  • Experience with Fortinet products or similar security products
  • Security certifications a plus (SANS, (ISC)2, ISACA)
  • Previous call center experience
  • Portuguese language ability a plus or willingness to learn
