Technical Support Engineer

Technical Support Engineer in the Engineering division provides engineering and technical support to the Operation and Maintenance team at the Marafiq IWPP. Responsibilities include engineering and data management in coordination with Power Operations, Desalination and Maintenance; ensuring asset compliance with engineering policies and statutory obligations; monitoring and evaluating parameters and providing analyses of plant processes; preparing and submitting daily/weekly/monthly reports; supporting cost-effective implementation of processes alongside maintenance/overhaul activities; managing engineering changes to ensure asset integrity; identifying and managing asset reliability risks; leading development and implementation of engineering work packages for major projects/overhauls; ensuring safe working conditions and adherence to IMS procedures; conducting audits for compliance; tracking production losses and maintenance costs; developing plans with operations and maintenance to reduce losses; providing technical support for operations and maintenance management; managing overhauls and projects and their expenditures; developing asset management strategies for plant assets; coordinating with internal/external stakeholders; ensuring HSE objectives and compliance; supporting change control processes and documentation; planning and coordinating overhauls/major project events; managing resources and ensuring program objectives are met; delivering integrated planning for asset integrity and statutory compliance; long-term contract strategies with suppliers; and ongoing collaboration with engineering, operations and maintenance teams.
