Job Summary
Lead maintenance and reliability execution across moulding machines, preform, blow moulding, downstream automation, and associated utilities; drive disciplined PM, tooling care, defect elimination, and failure prevention; perform root cause analysis on critical equipment failures and recurring issues; lead safe introduction and optimization of robotic and automated systems across plastics and end-of-line handling; support capital projects from business case to commissioning; use CMMS and AI-enabled insights to identify downtime trends and improvement opportunities; build team capability in automation awareness, digital discipline, data literacy, and troubleshooting; foster autonomous maintenance and strengthened operator ownership; drive change and adoption of smarter ways of working.
Required Qualifications
- Trade or technical background with experience in plastics manufacturing maintenance and reliability
- Strong understanding of preventive maintenance, asset reliability, and maintenance systems in high-speed environments
- Demonstrated leadership capability in a technical, maintenance, or plastics manufacturing environment
- Strong working knowledge of CMMS, planning, and work order management
- Experience with root cause analysis, defect elimination, and continuous improvement
- Ability to coordinate across operations, setters, production, planning, and engineering
- Exposure to automation, condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, and digital tools
- Capability to lead through change and build team capability in new ways of working
