Job Summary
Serve as a technical authority and advisor on NRO enterprise network infrastructure, architecture, and operational capabilities. Evaluate COMM tools, review proposed network architectures, and identify opportunities for modernization, optimization, and technology improvements. Provide expert recommendations for enhancing network performance, scalability, reliability, and security while troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues. Mentor network engineering teams and support requirements development, technical assessments, and solution recommendations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, government stakeholders, and vendors to ensure network solutions align with mission requirements. Prioritize prior NRO experience and deep expertise in mission-critical environments.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure
- Extensive experience with complex, mission-critical network environments
- Demonstrated expertise in network architecture, design, operations, and optimization
- Prior NRO experience
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP
- Strong understanding of Routing and switching
- Strong understanding of Network security concepts
- Strong understanding of DNS/DHCP/IP Address Management (IPAM)
- Strong understanding of Network monitoring and management tools
- Experience supporting Linux and Windows-based enterprise environments
- Ability to analyze complex technical problems and develop effective solutions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience providing technical recommendations to senior stakeholders
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting NRO, IC, DoD, or other government mission environments
- Experience as a technical lead, network architect, or senior engineering advisor
- Experience with enterprise network modernization and transformation initiatives
- Experience evaluating cloud networking solutions and hybrid infrastructure environments
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
- Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure)
