Job Summary
Liaise with clients and business analysts regarding enhancement requests, new reports, and project specifications. Develop and provide technical support for software customizations, troubleshooting, and performance analysis. Manage resolution of acceptance issues before and after go-live, while participating in on-site implementations and 24-hour extended support. Produce training materials, technical documentation, and reference guides for system custom development. This role requires availability for work outside office hours and international travel to client sites. InterSystems delivers unified data platforms for healthcare, finance, and supply chain customers globally, offering 24×7 support.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of web oriented languages, including HTML, and Java script
- Experience with SQL, data analysis and database methodologies
- Ability to design and write technical documents
- Well versed in Internet / Intranet concepts
- Experienced in client-focused interaction
- Proven ability to lead and deliver results as required within specific time frames
- Good presentation and communication skills
- Ability to conduct training and develop training materials
- Ability to work within a team in a multi-cultural environment
- Available for work outside of office hours and willingness to travel
- Passion for learning new technologies and applications
- University degree or equivalent work experience
Desired Qualifications
- HL7 programming experience
- Demonstrated ability to learn, evaluate, adapt to, propose and implement AI-augmented workflows in order to continually enhance your own, and the team's, productivity
- Experience using AI-assisted tools (e.g. copilots, summarisation tools, or chatbots) to investigate, triage, or document complex support cases, with an ability to critically evaluate and verify AI-generated outputs
- Ability to construct effective prompts for LLM-based tools to (for example) extract structured information from clinical documentation, support logs, or knowledge bases
- Practical experience using AI-powered developer or diagnostic tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, AI log analysis, or intelligent monitoring platforms) to investigate system issues, interpret error patterns, or accelerate root cause analysis
- Experience with InterSystems technology and healthcare systems highly desirable
- Knowledge of Health Information Exchange (HIE) standards and best practices
