Job Summary
Demonstrate proper installation techniques for national accounts and assess installer skill levels for nora approved status. Attend pre-construction meetings to verify sub-floor specifications, inspect product complaints, and document resolution reports. Provide technical support including mock-ups, weld samples, and presentations at trade shows while managing travel within budget. Install test floors, conduct training at the nora Academy, and respond to technical phone lines and mailboxes. Submit major competitor product reports and update technical literature as required.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience working with resilient flooring, including installation
- High diploma or GED
- Ability to travel 60-70% domestically, with occasional international travel and overnight/weekend travel as required
- Experience with Project management and conflict resolution
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with mitigation systems and floor preparation (including patches and self-levelers)
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and ability to use company provided IT tools such as iPhone, iPad, laptop, etc.
- College degree
