Job Summary
As a Technical Specialist - Field Service at Sandvik, you will provide high-quality technical support and service, acting as the main link between Sandvik and customers. Responsibilities include performing inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on mining equipment, supporting hydraulic, electrical, and automation systems. Ideal candidates have a hands-on approach, excellent diagnostic skills, and experience working with heavy mining equipment. You will collaborate with the customer’s Maintenance Management Team to improve equipment performance, maintaining safety standards and a proactive problem-solving approach.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant trade qualification in Heavy Duty Mechanical or Auto Electrical
- Solid experience in heavy equipment maintenance and fault diagnosis
- Confidence working across hydraulic, electrical, and automation systems
- Experience inspecting, servicing, and repairing mining equipment such as drill rigs, trucks, and loaders
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Sandvik equipment
- Maintenance systems knowledge
- Warranty processes experience
