Job Summary
Conduct human health risk assessments and basic hazard evaluations of agrochemical products, including drafting dossiers and analyzing residue data to support global safety evaluations. Manage crop residue study databases, perform quality control on draft reports, and run residue forecast models to predict concentrations across various crops. Support regulatory submissions by responding to information requests from internal stakeholders, conducting literature searches, and evaluating data for product registration activities. Effectively prioritize multiple assignments while meeting project timelines and quality expectations. Based in Hyderabad, India, this contract role extends within the Global Regulatory Sciences Operations group.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in agriculture (crop-protection/agronomy/crop-physiology) or related field
- 0-3 years' experience
Desired Qualifications
- familiarity with dietary and non-dietary risk assessment of agrochemicals
- Good Agricultural Practices
- residue chemistry field studies
- experience in conducting field experiments under and GLP
- familiarity with basic agriculture practices including agrochemical field spraying
- concepts of routes of human exposure
- basic understanding of experimental and/or regulatory toxicology including health reference doses (e.g. RfDs, MRLs, ADI)
- Knowledge of global pesticide regulatory guidelines (e.g. OECD, EPA, EFSA, FAO)
- exposure risk assessment tools (EFSA)
- exposure to dossier preparation
- scientific writing skills
- Attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry and reporting
- Experience in searching for scientific data
- Database management skills
- Effective oral and written communications skills
- Willing to learn and quickly adapt to a dynamic environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
