Job Summary
The Technical Specialist is responsible for the technical setup and operation of mid-level production events in a hospitality environment, ensuring client satisfaction. This role involves equipment operation, troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining client relationships through outstanding service, and supervising technicians. Key qualifications include a preferred Bachelor's Degree, over 3 years of event technology experience in audio/visual, and strong customer service skills.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of event technology experience with specialty in Audio, Lighting, Projection, or Video is required
- Internal applicants must complete all training and certification requirements as determined by Encore’s Global Learning Training Program
- External applicants must meet/validate and achieve/complete all training and certifications required for this position within 60 days of start date
- A valid driver's license is required for team members in positions that may operate company vehicles
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- 3-4 years of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred
- Ability to interact professionally and effectively with a diverse workforce, customer base, and senior-level management
- Strong customer, client, and coworker interface experience and abilities
