Job Summary
Technical Solutions Engineer responsible for serving as the primary technical contact for customers, diagnosing and resolving issues, and ensuring devices and integrations (PACS, EMR, DICOM/HL7) operate reliably in complex hospital networks. You will lead technical engagements with clinic staff, IT departments, and distributors, develop automated tools and scripts (Python/Bash) to streamline troubleshooting, deploy software updates to field devices, and translate field problems into engineering requirements. You will collaborate with engineering, product management, and sales to prioritize fixes, while maintaining documentation and supporting on-site deployments and remote diagnostics in real-world clinical environments.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in technical support, applications engineering, field service, or similar
- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related engineering field
- Working knowledge of networking and IT architecture (subnetting, VLANs, firewall rules, protocol-level troubleshooting)
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python strongly preferred) and Bash
- Experience with Linux operating systems
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Familiarity with cloud-based observability, monitoring, or security platforms
