Job Summary
Lead technical investigations and end-to-end resolution for campus network deployments using Arista EOS, CV-CUE, and CloudVision. Own complex Layer 2/3 campus network issues (VLANs, STP/RSTP/MSTP, LACP, LLDP, QoS, multicast) and RF planning for WiFi 5/6/6E/7. Support WLAN deployments, RF interference troubleshooting, roaming, and security (802.1X, RADIUS). Assist with CloudVision-driven zero-touch provisioning and controller-less wireless architectures. Reproduce and validate bug reports with the engineering team, contribute to knowledge-base runbooks, and communicate findings to customers. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in enterprise campus networks, a Bachelor's in CS/EE (Master's preferred), CWNE/CCNP/CCIE certifications considered, and strong written/verbal English skills. The role is based in Sydney with in-person work expectations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise campus networks
- Strong knowledge of IEEE 802.11 standards and RF fundamentals
- Experience with VLANs, STP/RSTP/MSTP, LACP, LLDP
- Experience with DHCP, IPv4/IPv6, RADIUS, 802.1X, AAA
- Experience with BGP/OSPF and modern fabric technologies (VXLAN/EVPN)
- Proficiency with Wireshark/tcpdump for packet analysis
- Excellent English communication skills
