Job Summary
Lead end-to-end technical architecture for critical business applications or core technical domains, ensuring every initiative translates into measurable business value aligned with enterprise standards. Act as the primary bridge between Solution Architecture, Engineering, and Business stakeholders to define technology strategy, technical architectural roadmaps, and decisions for strategic programs. Drive IT strategy for current, transitional, and target states across lines of business, including cloud, security, data, and DevOps, while enforcing architectural standards and maintaining the technical architecture repository. Deploy and maintain tool sets to support scalable, simplified, and optimized global technology landscapes, translating high-level strategic intent into actionable engineering solutions throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- 10–15+ years of experience in application engineering and technology management
- preferably within large-scale global enterprises or the financial services/insurance sector
- A strong foundation in modern engineering practices, cloud-native architecture, and the delivery of complex, scalable software systems
- Proven track record of leading large-scale technology migrations or architectural shifts
- Exceptional ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical business partners and other senior leaders
- A disciplined approach to working under tight deadlines and managing high-pressure delivery cycles without sacrificing quality
- Strong ability to partner with analysis teams to refine business requirements into technical roadmaps
- Applying modern engineering standards, cloud-native architectures, and automation to drive performance, reliability, and speed to market
- Strong understanding of AWS, Azure, Google CLOUD services, and their use in designing secure, scalable application platforms
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Generative AI (preferred) from application and security perspective
- Working knowledge of languages, and application Frameworks
- Hands on experience in open-source code and frameworks, Micro services Architecture, Angular/ React, Java/ J2EE, Relational DBs, NoSQL DBs such as MongoDB
- Some development experience preferred
- Certifications desired, not mandatory – TOGAF, AWS, Leeds, CISSP, CCC, SAFe for architects etc
