Job Summary
Technical Service Technician Level 1 on SOLV Energy solar projects in Texas: lead and support PV corrective maintenance and repairs, field installation of electrical components, and coordination of 3rd party and SOLV O&M repairs. Requires travel up to 50% and on-site work at Texas job sites. Responsibilities include enforcing safety regulations, training and supporting PV installations across regions, updating knowledge through ongoing training, and communicating with Asset managers and site teams. Key skills include electrical schematics and troubleshooting, protection/control devices, inverters, transformers, SCADA, fiber optics, cable terminations (low and medium voltage), and strong verbal/written English communication. Must have High School Diploma or GED, NFPA 70e certification, pass electrical exams, valid driver’s license, and the ability to work in remote, potentially harsh conditions and on-call situations. Required Qualifications

- Ability to work in remote locations and extreme weather
- Ability to work on an on-call basis
- Ability to train other technicians
- Strong safety awareness and leadership qualities
- Experience with PV installations or electrical components in solar projects

- Knowledge of SCADA and fiber optic troubleshooting
- Ability to coordinate with 3rd party and SOLV O&M teams
