Technical Services Supervisor

Job Summary
Lead the daily execution and development of the Technical Services department by supervising field personnel, coordinating workforce assignments, and managing project and contract lifecycles from planning through closeout. Establish safety-first cultures, monitor labor utilization and budget performance, and resolve routine field issues while protecting contractual and financial interests. Build relationships with customers, airport authorities, and internal stakeholders to drive operational capacity and departmental growth. When not on site, develop procedures, training materials, and technical standards to support continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in field service, airport equipment, industrial maintenance, automation, material-handling systems, or a related technical environment
- Comprehensive knowledge of technical project requirements, airport regulations, and safety standards
- Previous experience supervising or leading technical personnel
- Demonstrated experience coordinating multiple projects, schedules, resources, customers, contracts, and field documentation
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to obtain required airport and customer credentials
- Ability to travel
- Ability to support nonstandard work schedules when required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience reviewing project scopes, customer requirements, change orders, and other contractual documents
- Experience developing or improving processes, procedures, or work standards
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and geographically dispersed personnel
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, controls, automation, or industrial equipment systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to learn company project, scheduling, financial, CMMS, and document-management systems
- An associate or bachelor's degree in engineering technology, project management, construction management, industrial technology, business, or a related field
- Equivalent technical training, leadership experience, and relevant field experience
- Experience with airport infrastructure, project and contract management practices, OSHA requirements, continuous improvement, SharePoint, Microsoft Project, Planner, CMMS, or ERP systems
