Job Summary
Technical Services Pumps role based in Jakarta, with responsibilities including workshop and on-site service, repair and maintenance of pumps (including refurbishing used pumps and assembling new pumps), installation, commissioning and operation on customer sites, and reporting on field service jobs. The role involves investigating customer failures, providing technical evaluations, identifying service opportunities for pumps, hydro cyclones, valves and hoses, and promoting repair services and spare parts. Desirable certifications include CMRT and vibration analysis; knowledge of electric motors, VFDs, PLCs, and LO/TO safety is valued. Requires reading technical documents, strong communication, driving license, ability to travel with short notice, and willingness to work extended hours and weekends. Required Qualifications
- Experience with maintenance and/or rebuild/assembly of slurry pumps
- Mechanical background qualification with at least 3 years experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, drawings, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization
- Must have active driving license
- Must be able to pass random medical and drug tests
- Must be physically fit
- Ability to travel with short notice
- Ability to work away from home, for extended periods and extended hours, on weekends or as required
