Job Summary
Technical Services Manager in Dublin providing expert technical pensions support to brokers and advisers, interpreting pensions legislation and regulatory developments in a clear, practical way, contributing to the development and enhancement of Zurich’s pensions propositions, delivering technical content and guidance (TechTalks, adviser updates, technical guides), assisting with queries on transfers, QROPS, Pension Adjustment Orders and trusteeship, and building strong relationships with brokers, key accounts and internal teams while ensuring governance, accuracy and customer focus. Primary work location is Blackrock, Dublin with occasional travel; role emphasizes advisory, technical, and regulatory compliance responsibilities within Zurich’s pensions ecosystem.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience in the Irish pensions or wider financial services sector
- In-depth knowledge of Irish pensions products and legislation (PRSAs, Master Trusts, ARFs, auto-enrolment)
- Professional pensions or financial planning qualifications (AIIPM, QFA, RPA, CFP or relevant pensions qualification)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and structured problem solving
- Collaborative approach and relationship-building with brokers and internal stakeholders
