Job Summary
Oversee quality control procedures for ready-mix concrete production; design testing protocols for slump, air, unit weight, temperature, and compressive strength; ensure regulatory compliance; lead and develop a team of technical services representatives; coordinate with operations, maintenance, safety, and sales; maintain documentation and reports; stay current with concrete technology and industry practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Materials Engineering, or other engineering fields
- Minimum 7 years in concrete or concrete products quality control
- Minimum 2 years of experience managing a team of 2 or more
- Proven ability to understand technical aspects of concrete design and production
- Strong interpersonal skills, including effective communication and conflict resolution
- Computer skills in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Relative NRMCA or ACI certifications are preferred
