Job Summary
Technical Services Engineer based in Bengaluru for a hybrid working model. Responsible for building and maintaining complex production database systems (RDBMS or NoSQL), with coding/scripting in languages such as Java, Python, Ruby, C, C++, C#, JavaScript, node.js, or Go. Work involves integrating with APIs across security and fraud, big data analytics, AI, healthcare, content management, IoT, and other domains; systems engineering across Linux performance, memory, I/O tuning, security, networking, clusters, and troubleshooting; holistic issue analysis from application to storage; TCP/IP networking on OS/Hypervisor; administering cloud stacks (AWS/Azure/GCP); NAS/SAN/local storage and multi-pathing; and building solutions around application workloads. Preferred: MongoDB experience, additional programming with NoSQL/SQL databases, LDAP/Kerberos/AD authentication, Git, Kubernetes or similar orchestration, and familiarity with product release processes. The role aligns with MongoDB’s cloud-native, multi-cloud platform and includes participation in training and certification tracks.
Required Qualifications
- Experience building and maintaining complex mission-critical production database systems (RDBMS or NoSQL)
- Coding/scripting ability in one or more languages: Java, Python, Ruby, C, C++, C#, Javascript, node.js, Go, etc.
- Experience with APIs and integration with 3rd party technologies in security, fraud, big data analytics, AI, healthcare, content management, IoT, database performance monitoring and management
- Systems engineering experience (Linux performance, memory management, I/O tuning, configuration, security, networking, clusters, troubleshooting)
- Troubleshooting experience across application to storage
- TCP/IP networking stack experience on OS and Hypervisor
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- NAS/SAN/local storage/multi-pathing administration and troubleshooting
- Experience building solutions involving application workloads and use cases
