Job Summary
Maintain, monitor, and optimize private cloud and data center infrastructure, including servers, storage, and containerization environments. Administer on-premises platforms, troubleshoot complex issues across Windows, Linux, and MacOS systems, and ensure backup health. Proactively identify risks, remediate before service impact, and document root causes. Implement security controls, complete compliance checks, and fulfill service requests via established processes. Partner with the Network Team on infrastructure support, manage vendor relationships, and maintain technical documentation. Mentor junior team members, support task automation, and provide assistance through the ticketing system. Participate in a 24x7 on-call rota as required.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years supporting complex enterprise ICT environments with multiple stakeholders
- Degree in a technical subject or equivalent professional experience
- Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID
- Linux administration
- Virtualization Technologies (VMware, Nutanix)
- Containerization Technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Storage administration (e.g., EMC Unity, EverPure)
- Python
- PowerShell
- Bash
- Ansible
- Terraform
- Git
- Perforce
- Participate in a 24x7 on‐call rota as required
