Job Summary
Develop, maintain, and continually improve internal training materials and curricula for the Technical Services Enablement program; identify technical and procedural training needs; deliver live and hands-on training sessions; coach and mentor team members; build the training curriculum structure, policies, and effectiveness KPIs; collaborate with subject-matter experts to review and improve technical content; create hands-on engineering workshops and evaluate training impact; work with a globally distributed team to align content with new product readiness and feature releases; leverage familiarity with databases, programming languages, SDLC, Linux system administration, LMS tools, and analytics to enhance learning experiences.
Required Qualifications
- Experience developing and delivering technical education/training
- Experience consolidating and presenting technical concepts from subject-matter experts
- Familiarity with course development methodologies
- Proven success in creating, delivering and managing effective hands-on learning
- The desire and ability to rapidly learn a wide variety of new technical skills
- One or more of the following technical skills (multiple is a bonus):
- - Experience using or managing databases
- - Experience coding in one or more of the languages with drivers supported by MongoDB (eg. Python, Node.js, Java, Ruby, C#, ...)
- - Experience managing software development projects/ processes/ SDLC
- - Experience with system administration of Linux servers or networks
- - Technical Support experience
- - Data analysis experience
- - Experience evaluating training effectiveness (through assessment rubrics etc)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Nice to Have:
- - Experience using and managing a major Learning Management System (LMS) or e-Learning platform
- - Experience using or managing MongoDB
- - Experience with Jira or Salesforce
- - Experience with Just-in-Time learning approaches
- - Experience with gamification of learning
- - Experience with GenAI, Agentic systems and process automation
- - Experience with project/program management
- - Knowledge of MongoDB ecosystem (MongoDB Atlas, etc)
- - Familiarity with cloud/data platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- - Ability to work in a globally distributed team
