Technical Service Supervisor

Job Summary
Technical Service Supervisor leads and schedules daily operations of technical service representatives in a global construction-products company. Provides technical service to architects, contractors and distributors, advises on materials selection and installation procedures, reviews technical literature and data sheets, coordinates technical service training and audits, and participates in ISO quality system reviews. Responsibilities include supervising staff, analyzing technical activity trends, creating/revising technical data sheets and advisories, coordinating field site assistance, and drafting technical service articles. Requires strong supervisory/communication skills, construction knowledge, and fluency in relevant software; travel approximately 25%.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years experience in construction industry
- Minimum of 3 years in technical support of a building material or product
- Supervisory and management skills
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of architecture and construction methods
- Detailed knowledge of LATICRETE product line, applications, construction practice and materials
- Fluency in 2nd language preferred
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently
- Computer skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook; ERP/CRM systems (Oracle EnterpriseOne and CRM OnDemand preferred)
- Travel: 25%
- Associates Degree or equivalent work experience
