Job Summary
Provide daily and after-hours technical support to customers and Field Service Technicians via phone, email, and on-call rotation. Serve as the key customer contact for service matters, troubleshooting complex technical issues remotely and coordinating equipment installations, service schedules, and emergency visits. Manage warranty issues, maintenance agreements, and spare parts orders to improve equipment uptime while engaging engineering resources for challenging application problems. Review service reports, identify outstanding issues, and assist with planning technician travel and assignments. This customer-facing role requires travel as needed and involves acting as a technical expert to advocate for customers during ongoing equipment issues.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of technical service/support experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronics troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Strong customer service, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment
- Travel is required as needed
Desired Qualifications
- technical degree or related apprenticeship
- PeopleSoft/Salesforce experience
- Basic electrical and machine shop experience
