Job Summary
Provide customers with risk and gap assessments, design system architectures and cybersecurity concepts, and deploy security solutions while testing controls for effectiveness. Scan systems for vulnerabilities, suggest mitigations, and execute periodic cybersecurity services to maintain onboard vessels or port systems. Analyze and troubleshoot network problems, respond to cyber security incidents, and build thorough assessment documents based on industry best practices and international standards. This role supports the Process Automation division in Mexico, focusing on OT cybersecurity for critical infrastructure systems.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience as OT cyber security service engineer
- Bachelor's degree with IT background focused OT experience
- Strong knowledge about distributed control systems (DCS)
- Strong knowledge of computer networking concepts, network security methodologies, and cyber security solutions (ex. Application whitelisting, Backup solutions, network analyzing, Log aggregation, SIEM and other)
- Strong knowledge about windows and virtual system administration
- Knowledge about IEC 62443 standard
- Knowledge of technology integration processes and the ability to identify critical infrastructure systems
- Able to respond to cyber security incidents
- Must be available for weekend shifts
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge about ABB 800xA system is preferred
- Knowledge about Maritime class cyber security standards is preferred
