Job Summary
Solve customer issues via telephone and email by analyzing technical aspects of Watertronics product lines and recommending solutions using the PSN service parts catalog. Maintain 24-hour phone support availability on a rotation basis with other technicians. Assist in developing content for the Annual Service School, creating warranty records to define failure causes and frequencies, and testing equipment in the Test Department prior to shipment. Perform at least two field visits annually and utilize Microsoft Teams, HubSpot, and Microsoft Office 365 for communication and ticket management.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to read, write, and comprehend instructions in English
- Must be able to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division using whole numbers, percents, and fractions
- Able to define issues, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions
- The ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Must be competent with Variable Frequency Drives
- Must be competent with PLC's
- Must be competent with electrical schematics
- Must be competent with mechanical schematics
- Must be competent with Solid Works drawings
- Must have good computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Word
- Must have good computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Excel
- Must have good computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Outlook
- Must have good computer skills, including experience with Office 365
- Must be proficient in using HubSpot as a service ticket management system
- Must be proficient in using HubSpot as a deal management system
- Need to have a working understanding of how Watervision connects to our control platform and other control systems (IE: Toro, Rainbird, etc.)
- Must be proficient in using Microsoft Teams as a communication and collaboration management tool
- Must occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
