Job Summary
Technical Service Representative I provides technical service to architects, contractors, and distributors to advise on proper material selection for specific applications; reviews architectural blueprints, details, and specifications; drafts specifications and details for architects, engineers, contractors and distributors; prepares technical documents/literature; conducts seminars for construction professionals; investigates and resolves customer service and product complaints; handles inputs/requests from sales/field personnel and updates the job file system; identifies and forwards leads to sales; maintains professional conduct; requires 3-5 years in construction and 2 years in technical support of building materials; travel 25% with some international travel; fluency in a second language preferred; strong knowledge of ERP/CRM systems (Oracle EnterpriseOne, SalesForce1) and Microsoft Office suite; expected to have high school diploma with degree preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in construction industry
- 2 years in technical support of a building material or product preferred
- Fluency in 2nd language preferred
- Travel: 25% with some international travel required
- Knowledge of architecture and construction practices and materials
- Knowledge of LATICRETE products and applications preferred
- Knowledge of ERP and CRM systems; Oracle EnterpriseOne and SalesForce1 CRM system preferred
- High School Diploma; Degree preferred
