Job Summary
The Technical Service Manager (TSM) is responsible for the day-to-day operations and performance of the department, focusing on hiring, training, and mentoring a team of technicians. The TSM will establish strong customer relationships while ensuring the profitability of projects and compliance with safety regulations. Candidates should possess an associate degree or equivalent experience, with at least 5 years in the field, knowledge of industry standards, and proven leadership abilities.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in related field or experience equivalency
- Minimum of 5 years related experience
- Knowledge of NETA, NEC, OSHA, NFPA standards
- Thorough understanding of heavy industrial, utility, large commercial, renewable energy
- Ability to troubleshoot complex business issues
- Must have valid driver’s license for positions utilizing a company vehicle
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with MCC’s, Breakers, relay testing
- Training from military programs (Army Prime Power, Air Force Electrical Power Production, NAVY)
- Proven leadership and mentoring skills
- Strong communication skills (written and oral)
Additional Requirements
- Work may require flexible hours, weekends, holidays, and out-of-town work
- Must maintain NETA certification and be willing to test up to next level in Testing Division
