Job Summary

Manage a Tier 1 district office or multiple sites, overseeing profit and loss performance, budget execution, and financial targets. Foster a strong customer service culture by setting clear expectations, monitoring results, and holding teams accountable for business objectives. Lead the implementation of new processes, initiatives, and cultural improvements to drive continuous improvement across services and innovation. Partner with divisional directors, account executives, and operations managers during customer engagements to support revenue growth, cost management, and service expansion. This role requires 3+ years of supervisory experience in medical service, a bachelor's degree in engineering or biomedical technology, and valid driver's license. Full-time position with flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency off-hours. Up to 30% travel may be required. Located in San Antonio, Texas.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in supervising/managing medical service technicians or engineers
  • bachelor's degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering or Biomedical Equipment Technology or equivalent military training
  • MBA
  • Valid driver's license
  • Excellent customer communication skills that project confidence, enthusiasm, and a professional image
  • Ability to lift and/or push 75 pounds and stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as emergency off-hours and travel, as required
  • Up to 30% travel
  • Business and financial management expertise, including ability to manage a budget, assist with contract and account margin maintenance and support district office operations
  • Working knowledge of the healthcare industry, including an understanding of hospital operations, alternate care providers or medical equipment manufacturers
  • Experience in medical equipment preventive maintenance, repair and handling
  • Ability to read and understand technical manuals and electric/pneumatic schematics
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrates mastery of Profit and Loss (P&L) statements
  • Demonstrates a sales aptitude with customers and identifies and brings opportunities to review as part of the territory planning process
  • Build employee trust and engagement by being honest and consistent, keeping commitments, exchanging ideas openly, and providing support
