Job Summary
Investigate and verify that security requirements defined in design are properly implemented across systems and infrastructure. Assess security measures including network segregation, encryption, privilege escalation controls, and data masking to ensure compliance with standards and best practices. Identify and assess security vulnerabilities and gaps, then evaluate their severity and impact to prioritize remediation. Provide clear recommendations for improving security controls and develop actionable enhancement strategies with implementation plans. Conduct audits and reviews to verify control alignment with regulatory requirements while maintaining thorough documentation of findings for stakeholder reporting. Collaborate with teams to address security issues effectively and facilitate information sharing.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience in security assessments and penetration testing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate security controls and identify vulnerabilities
- Excellent communication skills to convey technical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple priorities effectively
- High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality and security standards
- Business English / Business Japanese required
- Knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, or PCI DSS
- Relevant certifications such as, CEH, Security+ or equivalent are preferred
- Self-motivated and proactive attitude with a continuous learning mindset to keep up with evolving security threats
- Experience in security assessments, audits, or as a penetration tester is highly desirable
