Job Summary
Technical Security and Signals Countermeasures (TSSC) Practitioner in Tampa, FL. The role requires active DoD TOP SECRET clearance with SCI Eligibility, DoD/Federal Counterintelligence/Law Enforcement credentialing credentials, TSSC fundamentals training, and certification. Candidates must have 6+ years of TSSC experience with installation, analysis, and operation of TSSC equipment tied to missions and operations, plus Information Assurance Technician Level II (DoDI 8140.01) and DoDM 8570.01 alignment. Ability to pursue PCAP-based network traffic analysis training within 1 year, and a strong grasp of DoD TSSC norms. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing a 6-foot ladder, crawling under barriers, and adequate hearing (≥30 dB in 500/1,000/2,000 Hz) and vision (20/20) with normal color vision. A background investigation and drug testing per contract FAR clause are required.
Required Qualifications
- Active DoD TOP SECRET clearance w/ SCI Eligibility
- Valid U.S. Passport
- Graduate of DoD or Federal Counterintelligence/Law Enforcement Badge & Credentialing School (IA W DoDI 5240.05)
- Graduate of the TSSC Fundamental Course, Inter-Agency Training Center, Fort Washington, Maryland and be certified
- 6 years of demonstrated TSSC experience
- 6 years’ experience with installation, analysis and operation of TSSC equipment related to missions and operations
- Information Assurance Technician Level II certification IA W DoDI 8140.01, Cyberspace Workforce Management and DoDM 8570.01
- Ability to gain network traffic analysis training utilizing PCAP data and analysis tools within 1 year of employment
- Understanding and application of/with DoD TSSC norms
- Hearing 30 decibels or better in both ears in 500, 1000, and 2000 Hz ranges
- Correctable vision to 20/20
- Normal color vision
- Dexterity in all extremities
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and carry for 50 feet
- Ability to climb a six-foot ladder
- Ability to crawl beneath a three-foot barrier
- Ability to reach with hands and arms (physical demands)
- Background investigation required
- Drug testing as per FAR 252.223-7004 (Drug Free Workforce) as a condition of employment
