Job Summary
This Technical Sales Trainee position is designed to groom candidates for roles as Territory Sales Manager or Technical Services Manager within the Eagle network over a 12-month training period. The role involves adhering to ethical standards, demonstrating safety and quality work practices, maintaining knowledge of the market and products, assisting in sales strategy development, building relationships in the business, supporting customer interactions, and participating in training programs. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree, general knowledge of concrete, and be proficient in MS Office, showcasing strong communication skills and adaptability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, construction industry or equivalent experience
- General knowledge of concrete and its constituents and applications
- Must be able to travel
- Must be willing and able to work in a concrete laboratory environment
- Must be willing to relocate for this and the subsequent position
Desired Qualifications
- Good technical knowledge, hardware and software
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to develop technical, marketing and strategy documents
- Excellent presenting, written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to gain industry knowledge (aggregates, cement, ready mix, etc.)
- Ability to prepare and maintain accurate reports
- Ability to grow within the organization
- Flexible and able to adjust to changing priorities
