Job Summary
Technical Sales Support – Ground Support role based in Southeast Asia (Indonesia). Combines onsite technical support for ground support operations with sales/business development across Indonesia. Responsibilities include rostered onsite support (approx. 2-3 weeks per cycle) for ground support operations and contract management to meet KPIs, conducting underground trials, pull tests, installation audits, and providing detailed reports; supporting product selection, troubleshooting, and end-user training; driving new sales opportunities, delivering customer presentations, demonstrations, and technical workshops; maintaining relationships with mining operators; assisting with quotations, forecasting, reporting, and CRM/ERP activities; promoting a strong EHS culture and participating in process improvements. Collaboration within a matrix organization, reporting to the Business Line Manager Ground Support; travel up to 60% across Indonesia; Bahasa Indonesia and English proficiency preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Geotechnical, Geological, or Mechanical Engineering
- Proven experience in underground mining operations
- Strong understanding of ground support products and applications
- Experience as a Geotechnical Engineer or Geologist
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
- Intermediate English proficiency (CEFR Level B1)
