Job Summary
Technical Sales Specialist responsible for driving territory sales growth in Grand Island, NY or Burlington, ON with a mix of remote communications and in-person field activities. Develop and execute a monthly business plan, conduct customer meetings, events, and proposals, and collaborate with sales counterparts to map accounts and identify growth opportunities. Maintain CRM data, forecast sales, analyze market trends, and nurture existing customer relationships to increase revenue. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in biology or related life sciences and 2+ years of sales or customer contact experience, strong interpersonal and presentation skills, and proficiency with MS Office and CRM tools. Overnight travel may be required for trainings and customer visits; relocation assistance is not provided. The role emphasizes strategic selling via email/phone and selective in-person engagements across the assigned territory.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related life sciences field required
- 2+ years of sales and/or customer contact experience required
- Outstanding relationship management and influence capabilities
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce) and MS Office suite
