Technical Sales Specialist

Job Summary
Conduct hands-on technical selling by running demos and trials to validate customer fit and accelerate product adoption within the upstream and downstream bioprocessing portfolio. Identify, reach, and engage prospective customers to generate and qualify new business opportunities while framing solution fit and addressing technical objections to increase win rates. Execute deal progression by shaping customer proposals and commercial offers with critical technical inputs, then deliver pre- and post-sales support to secure adoption and ensure smooth transitions to Central Sales. Capture and share actionable voice-of-customer insights to influence product portfolio development and enhance sales enablement approaches.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Engineering or related field, or equivalent demonstrated professional experience
- 3+ years of technical sales, applications support, or hands-on experience in a scientific or technical environment
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with upstream and/or downstream bioprocessing equipment such us bioreactors, chromatography and TTF systems (required)
- Demonstrated hunter mindset with proven ability to identify, advance, and win new opportunities
- Strong hands-on technical capability, including demos, trials, and customer evaluations
- Excellent consultative communication skills, able to articulate technical and commercial value to diverse stakeholders
- Willing to travel >30% as this role is heavily focused on external customers
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in CRM systems and structured sales processes, with strong documentation discipline (desired)
