Job Summary
Technical Sales Specialist for Gene Therapy based in the Philadelphia area, with remote work option. Drive sales growth across the East Coast by engaging biopharma, biotech, CDMO, academic, and hospital accounts; perform technical demos and trials, qualify opportunities, and shape commercial offers in collaboration with Central Sales. Leverage Salesforce for sales execution and planning, manage territory, and translate customer needs into pursued opportunities, delivering pre- and post-sales technical support to secure adoption and ongoing revenue. Requires strong technical and consultative communication skills, hunter mindset, and willingness to travel >50%.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of technical sales, applications support, or presales experience in a scientific or technical environment
- Willingness to travel >50%
- Proficiency in CRM systems and structured sales processes; ability to articulate technical and commercial value to diverse stakeholders
