Job Summary
Technical Sales Specialist for ABB's Continuous Water Analyzers (CWA) business in the Midwest region. Hybrid work model with up to 50% travel. Develop opportunities within water and wastewater, industrial process, and environmental monitoring sectors; combine consultative application development with commercial execution. Responsible for communicating delivery timelines and terms, marketing ABB’s CWA solutions (pH, conductivity, DO, and related instrumentation), supporting installation, commissioning, calibration, and troubleshooting, and driving partner- and customer-facing sales activities. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or mechanical/electrical/chemical engineering with 10+ years of related experience, strong analytical and leadership skills, and ability to travel up to 50%. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in chemistry or mechanical, chemical or electrical engineering
- 10+ years of proven and directly relatable industry experience
- 5+ years of direct technical experience with CWA products and applications in a sales, service, or end user role
- Experience working with and developing sales partners and sales teams preferred; Exceptional analytical, communication and leadership skills required
- Willing and able to travel up to 50% of the time domestically (international on occasion, but rare)
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
