Job Summary
Technical Sales Specialist to drive growth across Biotage's biomolecule purification and advanced therapeutics portfolio in Europe. Role combines scientific expertise with consultative selling to help researchers and biopharma organisations accelerate discovery and development. Responsibilities include managing the full sales cycle from opportunity identification to customer adoption, delivering product demonstrations and technical presentations, supporting application discussions and workflow optimization, generating new opportunities through events and collaborations with marketing, and collaborating with Product Management, Global Sales, Marketing and technical teams. Requires degree in biology-related field; experience with biomolecule workflows and commercial selling of scientific instruments or workflow solutions; strong technical understanding of applications such as protein purification and chromatography; excellent communication and relationship-building skills; CRM experience advantageous; field-based with regular customer engagement across Europe.
Required Qualifications
- Degree (BSc/MSc/PhD) in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related life science discipline
- Experience with biomolecule workflows (protein purification, chromatography, biologics)
- Commercial experience selling scientific instruments, consumables, software or workflow solutions in Life Sciences/Biopharma/Biotechnology is desirable
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce advantageous)
- Willingness to travel across Europe (field-based role)
