Required Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in technical sales, construction, or mechanical systems-related roles
- Exposure to HVAC, mechanical systems, or building controls strongly preferred
- Demonstrated interest in sales and business development
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships
- Self-starter with a high level of initiative and accountability
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities with varying sales cycles
- Experience in HVAC, building automation, or controls systems (preferred)
- Background working with contractors, engineers, or construction teams (preferred)
- Familiarity with reading construction drawings or specifications (preferred)
- Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce (preferred)
- Territory focused on Minnesota and Western Wisconsin
- Primarily local travel with regular client meetings and industry engagement
- Structured training program with mentorship and ride-alongs
- Ramp-up period of approximately 12 months
- Long sales cycles ranging from several months to multiple years
- Strong emphasis on business development and relationship building
