Job Summary
Outside Technical Sales Representative responsible for face-to-face customer interactions to develop and maintain sales opportunities across government and commercial industrial markets. Travel within Maryland (excluding Southern Maryland & Eastern Shore) to engage with MRO and OEM customers in industries such as R&D, Biotech, Pharma, Aerospace, and General Industrial; leverage technical, relationship, and strategic selling skills to grow opportunities. Must communicate effectively in 1-on-1 meetings and presentations, collaborate with internal teams, and function autonomously to meet sales targets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree is required
- Experience in a sales/engineering environment
- Computer literacy required- Internet, Microsoft Office, Excel, CRM, IPAD, Salesforce and SAP a plus
- Travel within assigned geography or account territory
- Strong Mechanical Aptitude
- Technical experience in engineering, power, analytical instrumentation, transportation is a plus
