Job Summary
Technical Sales Representative to grow Chemetall surface treatment chemicals in the Cincinnati, OH; Louisville, KY, and Lexington, KY area. Responsibilities include contacting established and prospective customers in the territory to sell Chemetall surface treatment chemicals, tailoring sales presentations and proposals to account needs, managing territory profitability and pricing, quoting and delivering product solutions, maintaining CRM (Salesforce) and opportunity pipeline, building strong customer relationships, providing information on new products and methods, training customers on proper and safe use of Chemetall materials, and reporting competitive activities to the District Manager.
Required Qualifications
- BS Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Engineering, or Business is required
- Minimum of 2 years of relatable experience is required
- B2B/outside industrial sales experience preferred
- Ability to make sales presentations and follow up with written proposals and manage customer contracts
- Strong negotiation skills
- Travel up to 50-60%, with occasional overnight travel
- Valid driver's license in good standing
