Job Summary
Technical Sales Manager to grow market presence within data centre and emerging construction sectors, positioning high-performance building envelope and construction products as the preferred specification choice. Focus on technical, specification-led sales, building long-term relationships with architects, contractors, developers, and consultants, and converting early-stage project engagement into secured business across the UK and Europe. Responsibilities include building relationships with Architects and Design Practices, defining routes to market across European regions, representing the business at client meetings and design reviews, positioning products at specification stage, developing a robust pipeline for data centre and emerging sectors, tracking opportunities through design to completion, collaborating with internal sales teams, delivering revenue growth, ensuring compliance with regional building regulations, supporting testing and certification with internal technical teams, providing technical input for product specification and system selection, acting as a technical liaison between clients and internal stakeholders, maintaining CRM records, producing pipeline and revenue reports, and supporting sector strategy and cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in technical sales, specification sales, or business development within Construction products
- Strong understanding of the construction project lifecycle
- Experience working with architects, contractors, and consultants
- Commercially aware with an understanding of pricing, margins, and profitability
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Confident user of CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools
- Able to work independently across multiple regions
- Comfortable with regular European travel
