Job Summary
Technical Sales Manager acts as a technical expert supporting customers in the semiconductor test and probing industry. You advise on high performance materials for probe materials and drive technical customer projects from concept to qualification, analyze electrical, mechanical, and reliability requirements, manage product development from prototype to industrialization, contribute to material development and specification definition, and prepare technical documentation while supporting Sales with expert input. The role requires translating customer needs into technical solutions, with a focus on materials science and engineering, across global markets; and involves travel, a collaborative, cross-functional environment, and mobile working in Germany.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Materials Science, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Physics, or similar
- Experience in global project management
- Experience in the semiconductor or wafer test industry
- Knowledge of precious metal and specialty alloys
- Strong English skills; experience in Asian markets and Asian language skills are a plus
- Willingness to travel and strong intercultural competence
