Technical Sales Manager

Job Summary
Lead technical sales and project management for environmental remediation, hazardous materials, and emergency response operations within your assigned territory. Develop estimates, quotes, and proposals while identifying new customer opportunities to drive branch revenue. Provide field supervision, safety training, and ongoing coaching to team members, ensuring all work complies with OSHA, DOT, and RCRA regulations. Manage project schedules, cost tracking, and waste management documentation including manifests and logs. Conduct business agreements and respond to emergencies 24/7, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with extensive travel for scheduled and emergency responses.
Required Qualifications
- 40-hour HAZWOPER Certification
- additional 120-hours (combined) of specialized hazmat or environmental certifications
- 5+ years as a HAZWOPER/Environmental supervisor
- 3+ years of HAZWOPER/Environmental experience
- 2+ years of supervisor experience in a comparable industry
- 8+ years driving experience
- current and clean driving record
- 3+ years of experience with computer applications, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Acrobat and Excel
Desired Qualifications
- Strong negotiation, communication and relationship-building capabilities
- General understanding of OSHA, DOT, and RCRA regulations
- General knowledge in HAZWOPER and Environmental industry, specific to environmental remediation, industrial services, emergency response and hazardous materials transportation and disposal
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Good written and verbal skills to effectively communicate with team members and on-site customer personnel
- Ability to oversee assigned projects and delegate responsibilities to complete job in a safe, compliant, and efficient manner
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management and organizational skills
