Job Summary
Technical Sales Executive at SGS focused on Upstream Services: lead technical and commercial project proposals, promote and sell services within the I&E Division, and meet monthly sales targets/KPIs. Responsibilities include following up on customer enquiries, achieving monthly quotation targets, managing documents and deliverables, and ensuring client satisfaction while adhering to HSE, quality, and integrity standards. Requires a Degree in Science, Chemistry, or Engineering and 2-3 years of relevant Oil & Gas or chemical industry experience; strong English and local language communication, excellent planning/organization, telephone etiquette, teamwork, and ability to work independently. Travel is flexible and frequent. Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of generating graphs/charts and report writing. Leadership competencies include fostering innovation, strategic thinking, action translation, internal/external influence, self-development, collaboration, and building high-performance teams.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Science, Chemistry or Engineering
- Minimum 2-3 years working in Oil, Gas or chemical plant or engineering firm or other related industries
- Field Experience in Sampling/ Production Chemical / Corrosion is added advantaged
- Fluent in English and local language, both presentation and writing skills
- Excellent planning and organization skills
- Excellent telephone etiquette
- Team player, ability to network
- Independent and work with minimum supervision
- Proficient in computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to generate graphs/charts and report writing
