Job Summary
Technical Sales Executive for coatings products to industrial, decorative, protective, automotive, marine, and related sectors. Responsibilities include promoting and selling coatings, identifying new business opportunities, understanding customer requirements, giving product presentations and technical demonstrations, preparing quotations, supporting contract negotiations, coordinating with technical/production/logistics teams, providing first-line technical support, maintaining customer relationships through regular visits, monitoring market trends and competition, and maintaining CRM records. Requires experience in coatings/related industries, established network with paint manufacturers/distributors, strong techno-commercial aptitude, self-motivation, and knowledge of coating formulations and manufacturing processes. Education at bachelor’s level and 3–7 years of technical sales experience are preferred. Location is Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India with in-person work; remote work is not indicated.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Paint Technology, Materials Science, Business, or a related field
- 3–7 years of experience in technical sales within coatings, paints, inks, adhesives, or specialty chemicals
