Technical Sales Engineer- Control Valves & Actuation

Job Summary
The Actuation & Control Valve Sales Engineer will drive sales and foster customer relationships while providing technical expertise for valve actuation and control valve equipment. Responsibilities include serving as a subject matter expert, participating in sales calls, collaborating with General Managers and business development teams, developing relationships with customers to create tailored solutions, organizing technical training seminars, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing market insights to internal teams. Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field, 2–5 years of experience in technical sales or engineering, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related technical field (Engineering, Mechanical, Industrial) or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2–5 years of engineering, technical sales, or industrial sales experience
- Proven ability to identify customer needs and translate them into product solutions
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness and ability to travel 50% of the time
- A valid driver’s license and ability to meet company vehicle policy
Desired Qualifications
- Strong understanding of control valves, actuation systems, and associated markets
- Familiarity with Butterfly Valves, Ball Valves, Knife Gate Valves, and Control Valves
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
