Job Summary
Sales Engineer role combining technical knowledge with B2B sales in the HVAC/industrial sector. Responsibilities include providing pre- and post-sales technical support, assisting with design of custom-made products, managing client engagement from design through hand-off to PMO, building long-term client relationships, supporting pre-sales with specifications, quotations and orders, developing new prospects across Canada and the United States, coordinating with multiple departments to prevent issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction through the sales cycle. Requires engineering-related degree or diploma and 3-5 years of engineering/technical sales experience in a building materials/design/manufacturing context. Based in Ottawa, ON.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Architecture or Industrial Design
- 3 - 5 years of Engineering/Technical Sales experience
- Experience in the building materials industry
- Technical sales experience in the design/manufacturing environment
